Before entering the aerospace and defense industry, Chris traveled the world as a professional triathlete, developing the discipline and focus that now define his career. With a decade of aerospace experience, Chris partners with OEMs to expand their domestic and international business, particularly in sales to U.S. and international militaries. A firm believer in the power of relationships, Chris is passionate about building meaningful connections for success in both business and life. He has a degree in Finance from CU Boulder.

Adrienne Brown
President | Co-Founder
As President and Co-Founder of Sequoia Defense, Adrienne brings over 15 years of industry business development and operations experience, focusing on corporate and client strategy, with a proven record of building diverse teams. A tenacious competitor, she spent her earlier life as a world-class swimmer and three-time NCAA Division I champion, channeling that same drive into her professional career. She is a Santa Barbara native with a BA in Criminology and MBA from Auburn University.

Monica brings 20+ years of experience in the A&D industry. She leads Sequoia's global expansion efforts, focusing on strategic partnerships and market development. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and has built a successful career with leading aerospace corporations across Europe and EMEA. She is known for driving growth initiatives, leading international teams, and building customer relationships in complex global environments.

Manager, Sales Growth
Jacob brings a strong foundation in A&D sales, most recently supporting Africa and Europe markets. He has also contributed to leading organizations including L3Harris Technologies, US Army Cyber Command, and Stanley Security, building experience across both government and industry. Jacob helps our team expand its reach, support OEM partners, and deliver mission-critical parts with speed, transparency, and trust.

Known for his no-nonsense attitude and keen oversight from the highest perch in the room, he ensures the team stays focused (and humble). When not patrolling HQ, Taco can be found conducting “stealth operations” on unattended snacks.

Lasagna is all about high-energy engagement and team cohesion. He specializes in keeping spirits lifted, alerting staff to critical package deliveries, and demanding performance reviews in the form of belly rubs. Outside the office, he conducts advanced field research at the dog park, where he’s universally recognized as a force multiplier.
